Make a Gift to the Elizabeth Peabody House (EPH) in Memory of Sal Ingeme

In Memory of Sal Ingeme

Thank you for honoring Sal's life with a gift to the Elizabeth Peabody House (EPH), one of Boston's first settlement houses. Your donation will provide children and families with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive - something that meant a great deal to Sal.

Sal grew up in Boston's West End on Poplar Street and had many cherished memories connected to his time at the Elizabeth Peabody House. In addition to attending kindergarten there, he participated in student plays and social events, as well as summer camp. Sal attended Camp Gannett, an overnight camp in Sharon, MA, for one month every summer from the age of 7 through 16. Those experiences were life-changing and remained close to his heart throughout his life. I had the pleasure of attending camp reunions with Sal and seeing firsthand the lasting friendships and special memories he created there.

As Sal often said, "I don't wait for life to bring me joy - I bring my joy to life." That spirit carried him throughout his life.

Thank you for helping us honor Sal's memory in such a meaningful way.

With love and gratitude, Kit Ingeme
